I'm now into week 5 of my cycle training schedule and the weekly mileage was nearly 120 miles. I finished the week at the Tweedlove Skinny Sportive on Sunday with a 44 mile organised event from Peebles through to Biggar on quiet roads. A nice event and great weather and I was pleased to get around the course in under 3 hours. I even had to do an extra hour afterwards to hit my target for the week.
The cycling seems to be entirely fine for my knee which is generally improving but not quite better. Weight is down as well - hitting 69 kg for the first time in quite a few years. The volume of training has a long way to go yet with steady increases every week in the coming weeks.
